Mock Interview Workshop

Nine years ago, we started the first TF Mock Interview Workshop in South Carolina. 25 students from across the state came to practice their writing and interview skills. Each year it's grown and grown, and we've gotten better and better at preparing future Teaching Fellows to be their best selves on Interview Day.

About Our Mock Interview

Each year, we schedule our Mock Interview exactly two weeks before the official Interview Day. We have found that it gives you the appropriate amount of time to digest our feedback and to continue to improve your presentation.

Our goal is to make sure you are the best you can be on Interview Day. We want you to be a Teaching Fellow and to make a difference in the lives of South Carolina's children. Whether or not you pick Lander doesn't matter. We're here to help you, no matter where you end up!

Schedule

Our Mock Interview day is conveniently situated 2 weeks before your interview:

  • Group A: Check-in at 9am, begin at 9:15am
  • Group B: Check-in at 12:15pm, begin at 12:30pm
  • Duration: The day runs from 9am-2:30pm

We'll have light refreshments for you (and your parents). Come early, grab some treats and get ready to interview!
